@Vidyala I am still sorting out writing with it. it's their EF nib, because I wanted a true EF.
It's just way flexier than I am used to! I really like it, but sometimes I use too much pressure and it is weird.
Zero regrets though.
@justanna Sailor nibs are so particular the way they are. I only have two and the one I reach for - is a Zoom nib. Because some people just want to watch the world burn. š My other is a Sailor MF and itās so fine for me. They are beautiful nibs though!

@justanna yeah absolutely makes sense! A Zoom nib is a Sailor specialty nib thatās like - it changes depending on your pen angle? https://goldspot.com/blogs/magazine/writing-with-a-sailor-zoom-nib But mainly itās a firehose. You can even flip it backwards to write really thin (but I donāt do this). This is mine!

I also kind of want an architect nib I think it is? The one that's flat in one direction, but not an Italic?
@justanna I started out thinking I wanted EF-F and I was so wrong, now I only use mainly western M+ to B, and the culmination of that is definitely the Zoom haha. I donāt have an architect nib either but Iāve seen them, they look really cool! Iād love to try one sometime.
@Vidyala I have a bunch of M+ to B nibs on other pens, and I adore them for some inks, but I really like my SF Falcon, and my F Elite 95S in my planner on the Tomoe River paper. So I jumped at the chance to get a Sailor.
I think they all will have their place - I have a broad TWSBI in my pen case now too, with sparkly ink in it, because I realized I needed fun ink too.
@justanna Yeah! Thereās no Right Pen, only whatās right for you/the time. I love that about them. My TWSBI stub is always loaded with shimmer ink and it makes my heart happy š„° (shimmer ink has been creeping into more and more pens, lol)
@Vidyala I go through phases with shimmer, but Diamine Jack Frost is *always* in my TWSBI Broad (that has the pretty blue cap, of course).
That ink makes my heart sing. And I always have a pen with Ruby Blues in it as well - I've seen a lot of blues with red shimmer, but that one is still my favorite.

Also I have to let you know that you are a terrible, terrible influence and I have a used Sailor Zoom nib that I bought on eBay this morning.

I fell in love with how it writes for you. Pen enablement is never unwanted though. :D

The mail lost my pen. The one with the zoom nib.
They say they delivered it on Saturday.
They did not.
The eBay seller says I have to wait 7-10 business days before I get a refund.

@Vidyala No idea. It's marked as delivered, but no picture. I had two small-ish packages that day, so it's possible it got delivered to the wrong house, or like... dropped in the truck?
I have two different confirmation numbers, both are marked as delivered, but only one is at my house. >.<

I have Sailor Manyo Nekoyanagi in it, and like... This is seriously both Holy Grail Pen *and* Holy Grail Ink *and* the ink matches the dang pen.
THANK YOU for telling me about Zoom nibs! I will have to write larger to not have it be smeary but my gosh is it gorgeous.
