I wish folk would stop listening to these fossil fuel lobbyists. They've been using the same rhetoric for decades.

If Sunak and his co-conspirators invest in renewables, heat pumps, home insulation, public transport, etc., folk can afford to live a comfortable lifestyle without it having to cost the Earth.

@CountBinface worse, one set of the right policies addresses both problems. Take home insulation as an example. He’s smart enough to know that yet chooses to set up another populist us/them ‘battle’. It’s the ultimate in performative 🐂💩 and I suspect will consume lots of oxygen & backfire spectacularly.

Even Ford and Stellantis are calling him bonkers. And they have skin in the carbon game. All he’s doing is undermining, trashing, dirtying, hurting. Hateful stuff.
