Seriously though, when you’re a car manufacturer making mega size strategic investments in new EV models, how are you supposed to deal with a country flip-flopping its policies like a tent flap in a force 9 gale? The only way humanity survives this is by ignoring the questionable motives of its leaders.

Musk has been awfully silent about this as you can't really make your “freedom of speech!!” argument when you assist with killing a retired teacher for the regime critic posts they made on your platform, only possible because that regime owns a huge chunk of “your” platform.

Some have given up on masking as they think there's no point if masks can't singlehandedly eradicate a virus (a right wing talking point). What they're missing is that higher risk people can't even get healthcare due to a lack of masking. Masks make essential spaces accessible.
