Ukrainian troops have retaken #Andriivka a destroyed town six miles south of #Bakhmut that will allow #Ukraine to continue pushing east.

The town is situated on high ground which will allow artillery to work more effectively.

Ukrainian forces reclaim a village in the east as part of counteroffensive

Ukrainian forces have recaptured a village in the country’s east after intense battles with Russian troops. The village of Andriivka is about 6 miles south of the Russia-occupied town of Bakhmut in the eastern Donetsk region. It's the latest gain for Kyiv in a counteroffensive that has seen slow but steady gains by Ukrainian forces. The announcement of reclaiming Andriivka came early Friday from the General Staff of Ukraine’s armed forces. Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar had already announced the village's recapture. The 3rd Assault Brigade fighting in the direction initially contested the statement, before confirming it hours later.

Zelenskyy is slated to visit the UN in New York next week, and then visit Washington D.C. after.

His visit coincides with a congressional vote for more military aid in #Ukraine that has been divisive down political lines.

His stunt with the Sacramento Servers for Twitter also show him to be a security risk. He is impulsive and does not follow established protocol.

As does that recent SpaceX launch where his rockets lacked flame deflectors, among many other safety standards.

If you own stock in anything #Musk has anything to do with, sell it. He's simply not responsible.
