Except lazy and uninformed go right to the bone marrow in this population

@TheWarOnCars Great idea. I wish my community would embrace these ideas. But the Town of Collingwood (ON, Canada) is still mired in 1950s, pro-vehicle planning attitudes. They want more traffic, more noise, more pollution on residential streets.

Yes, likely, but in a small community like Collingwood, it's very noticeable and has a significant effect on residential areas when traffic increases. When the town helps funnel traffic passing through the community (rather than to local destinations) along residential streets, it becomes a nightmare.

People being reduced to tears really shows how much we have been enslaved by cars.
It's literally like the joy of being released from prison!.
