(Note: They did not call it “trickle-down economics.” I don’t know where that term came from, but it has mislead generations.)
In the 1980s, I subscribed to the Wall Street Journal. I drank their editorial pages Flavor Aid. Contributors promised technological advancement and great new jobs as investors sought investments. One could imagine a future of flying cars.

MichaelleMagnum@dgar Lol. Also, if you reduce the loopholes we may be better off. That said, whatever taxes the rich are made to pay they will most likely pass it down to their consumers and also take from the wages of their employers. Only putting a cap on how much top people can earn may somewhat help - though they may find a way to get around that too.

Pro Lamer Dude@dgar They shouldn't cut taxes on the rich, that would be unfair. Instead everyone should pay the same percentage of their income in taxes, that would be fair and just.
