@thingsiplay @github Apparently the server maintainers confirmed it. https://community.hachyderm.io/approved/ the question is if you should trust Hachyderm or how there approval system works
@grobmeier @github If it was official, surely there must be a link on Github itself (by Github). Unless there is an official link to it, I do not trust anything else. It should be on the list of social links at https://github.blog/ in example. Not saying its not true, there is no official way to check.

@thingsiplay @github You can check on GitHub.com for a me-link in the source code. The account indicated there is one. I can check later too (I am curious)

@ziro2264 not yet, don’t want to be too noisy to our wonderful admins but also just chill for a bit with the cool kids. Also not the right place for lots of GitHub corporate marketing etc. Mostly be here to support and boost cool stuff happening in the community.
I can't find on the website of github.com or the github.blog. When I click right mouse click to view HTML source, there is no such link or I don't know where it is. What am I missing?
Maybe try it on incognito tab? That's how I check it
@ziro2264 yeah, it’s the non-logged in homepage that the mastodon verification code sees. Same page can be seen if you are logged in by going to https://github.com/home
