I wish more people understood that being able-bodied is just a temporary condition...

@fribbledom @Cassandra I’ve had luck introducing people to this concept in accessibility circles using hangovers as an example. A little humor and relatability helps.

Many able-bodied people have had the experience of going through their daily routine with reduced cognitive and motor ability this way. The temporariness has always been something they have bounced back from. Sports injuries and back pain are relatable inroads to not bouncing back.
