That's why it was forked into Fork Awesome and is available under OSI-approved license:

I consider Font Awesome source-available with a generous free license.

@viktor sadly, most applications I use has no icon in this collection. Mastodon and Matrix just to mention a couple.

@viktor @Strit Let me rephrase: Not very active. They (mostly just one dev) haven't added new icons or fixed bugs in any of their packages in many months.

@preya @Strit It's free and open source. They don't get paid. So an occasional update is fine. They did release the download feature recently:

@afranke I like Fork Awesome, but I haven't seen any updates in a while. I'm curious if it's still actively maintained, or basically frozen at the current set of icons.
