I believe Politico privately considers "No Labels" to be a spoiler operation designed to put Trump back in the White House. But like other willfully blind journalism organizations, it treats the group as "centrist" with honest motivations.

It's likely that some supporters do honestly believe they're helping to improve politics. But they are the Jill Stein voters of 2024 and should be called out as such.

A 6-figure Donald Trump donor is now a No Labels adviser

Allan Keen is heavily involved with the centrist group, but previously worked to re-elect Trump.

@dangillmor
The problem with this demonizing of any alternative choices beyond forced wealth serving establishment is that it's a vicious cycle giving poorly representative candidates. 2020 saw the disgusting organized crush of front runner populist Sanders. Does anyone really want Harris after Biden?

This is what you're pushing. Who deserves to be sneered at on a "Jill Stein voters" level?

@Silversalty You may not like the choices, but at least acknowledge the consequences of putting Trump back in the White House.
@dangillmor
Lesser evil.
Who originally pushed Trump to run for pres?
Who let Garland get blocked thinking HRC would win, while continually facing FBI investigation?
How is this establishment behavior allowed and not blamed?

@Silversalty Do you prefer Trump to Biden, yes or no? Supporting a third-party candidate is a yes.

BTW what are the answers, as you see them, to your questions?

@dangillmor
I preferred Sanders to HRC and Biden. At least HRC had some semblence of favor. Biden was bum rushed to the nomination with help from the corrupt "Firewall."

Do you prefer a party that repeatedly blocks populist choices for its 'commissoned' wealth service?

Don't play me with these disgusting forced choices.

@dangillmor
And if Biden loses to Trump due to his uninspiring person and positions (student debt) (as was the case with 2016 HRC) will you accept blame for Trump2 for pushing him?

No you won't. You only want to project blame.

@Silversalty Here's your logic:

Biden -- far and away more progressive than the left expected -- hasn't done everything the left wanted.

The left's response should therefore be to put Trump back in the White House to punish the Democrats?

@dangillmor
No one on the 'left' would ever vote for Trump. They might stay home.

I expect Biden to do much more on student debt as crunch time approaches bc he'll be dead otherwise. So good of him.

Drugs? Another piecemeal approach to a completely controlled 'market' that kills thousands every year. Yeah!

@Silversalty @dangillmor

Have you seen what Biden has done on student debt?
It's quite a lot.
Under the new income-based repayment plan my son will pay (assuming current income is stable) ~$15,500 over 10 years and have ~$67,000 wiped away at the end of those 10 years (assuming those lovely Trump judges don't f this up too...).

@Silversalty @dangillmor

We are all going to get a presidential administration in 2024. I hope you enjoy the one we get
