I believe Politico privately considers "No Labels" to be a spoiler operation designed to put Trump back in the White House. But like other willfully blind journalism organizations, it treats the group as "centrist" with honest motivations.

It's likely that some supporters do honestly believe they're helping to improve politics. But they are the Jill Stein voters of 2024 and should be called out as such.

Isn't Politico openly dedicated to realpolitik, and sees its job as limited to tracking the flow of power and the actions of the powerful?

I'd always assumed that was the case, based on their reporting, and would be stunned to find out that they've got some mission statement that even mentions "truth", or "justice".
