Beautiful arched ceiling. Looks like they rudely converted a soaring 2-storey cathedral-ceilinged reading room to crummy office cubicles before it was abandoned. I hope someone restores/ repurposes it before it's too late.

Aye those depressing cubicles on the ground floor were a much later addition, I wonder why they were added. Perhaps for private reading room spaces, or some other community use.
