This is not the type of drama I usually enjoy. It is slow, the storyline has no big twists and no action. BUT. It is a nice love story and it is perfect for learning Korean. I understood more sentences with this drama than ever. Everyone speaks politely by ending verbs with 요. They speak slowly too with mostly short sentences. There's no shouting or angry talk.

And #KimMinJae has a wonderful smile 😉!

@s1m0n4 Thanks for the recommendation, especially for #LanguageLearning #korean
I adored #Navillera, which had very little action or romance but was just a very lovely story about people of all ages pursuing their dreams.

@EllenInEdmonton I'm thinking of reading the webtoon. It's been printed in French for boomers like me preferring paper comics. The drama is on Netflix but I'll keep an eye on it!

In #DYLB I loved that it has a grown-up approach to feelings and conversations. It also highlights psychological harassment in a field as demanding such as classical music.
There's a nice deep romance. And I'm positively surprised by my reaction too. I started watching it convinced I would leave it unfinished 😅

@s1m0n4 Ooh, is that Navillera? I'm a boomer but I don't read much paper any more. Screens or audio for me.
