It gets worse.

Ford government issues a zoning order to allow construction on farmland, to help a developer quickly build 600 “desperately needed new homes.”

But before building anything, the developer (who attended Ford’s daughter’s wedding) sold the land for huge profit.

Property records show he recently sold a large chunk for *4 times* what he originally paid in 2017 for the entire 102-acre property. Then sold the rest for just $2?!

In Feb 2020, Flato Developments CEO, Shakir Rehmatullah, MPP Kaleed Rasheed, & Premier Ford's then-principal secretary Amin Massoudi, travelled to Las Vegas.

#Flato Developments has since received at least 5 minister's zoning orders, including Greenbelt orders.

"MPP Kaleed Rasheed wouldn't say whether he's talked to David Wake, Ontario's integrity commissioner, or if he thinks personal trips with government stakeholders are appropriate."
