Disassembly of a 1971 Olivetti Lettera 32 typewriter. Sadly a tiny plastic gear broke and I can't find a replacement. I'll be parting this out, hopefully helping someone else and restoring their own Lettera 32.

@bobmueller Good suggestion, I haven't thought of that. Unfortunately, the gear in question is about the size of my pinky nail and is riveted to a metal bearing holder that will also need replaced.

@doublythumbs Ah, that's a shame. I got a Lettera 36 for college in the early 80s and held on to it for forever for some reason. Didn't sell it until just after the turn of the century.

@thef1y1 Thanks! I'll most likely be listing the parts on eBay since it's already disassembled. I'm hoping someone out there needs a specific part without needing to buy a whole typewriter.

@doublythumbs have you looked at 3D printing a new gear? It’s amazing what you can make these days. There might be one already available or you might have to find someone to help you design it.
