Petition to deny Fox TV license over false election info gains steam at FCC
FCC seeks broader public input on license renewal for WTXF-TV in Philadelphia.
"Fox said it is aware of only one previous example of a license renewal being given permit-but-disclose treatment. That was in June 2007, when the FCC used permit-but-disclose procedures for the license renewals of Fox stations in New Jersey and New York, WWOR and WNYW. The FCC eventually closed the matter after over a decade of filings, allowing the stations to keep their licenses in 2018."
So Fox dragged it out until they had their work-product in the White House and the FCC who promptly "closed the matter."
This is a good argument for denying the license today.
It is a court recognized lying group whose purpose is to lie.
At The Very Least It Must Not Lie On America Military Bases.

@arstechnica I am uncertain, but I almost recall some precedent about some FCC restriction not having any teeth because it was not broadcast, but cable only.
I could easily see Fox giving up over the air broadcast as a sacrifice.
