I just want to let you know something. Despite all my positive posts, I want you to know that it's perfectly okay to not be okay. There's a lot going wrong, a lot of happenings to mourn. It's necessary to let yourself feel, because hiding it all away or ignoring it is detrimental. Vent, cry, be mad if you need to. Express yourself however you feel is right.

Just don't forget... there really is a lot to be happy about too. Rely on those and keep them in your mind when you're ready to move past being depressed.

Your feelings are valid, poth positive and negative. Feeling is part of living.

@Bwee It is perfectly fine to be Not Fine. It is perfectly fine to have to vent to someone you trust.

To use the tyre tube analogy, your brain has a tyre tube that it pumps all of the bad stress into. You have to stop and take time to let the air out every once in a while, because if you don't, the tube will burst and potentially hurt not just yourself, but everyone around you as well. Plus, you can make repairs to the tube, which you can't do if it's inflated too high.

If you need to take a day to work on letting out some air, then that is perfectly fine.
