@arstechnica How much did he pay a grifter for those magical beans? I'm reminded of when H. Ross Perot was convinced POWs were still being held in Vietnam. He announced, basically, his checkbook was open to anyone with proof. And the grifters tripped over themselves to relieve Perot of his money...
@arstechnica You're allowed to say "fraudulent" instead of "odd" when it's appropriate.
@arstechnica I assume he has a gofundme up for the defense fund? And that the money taken will evaporate into the ether..
@arstechnica If it'll keep him off the streets...
@arstechnica And the freakshow that is America keeps rolling on, and on, and on…
@arstechnica The wild journey from doing drugs to selling crappy pillows to this.
@arstechnica gonna be really funny when the drones own wifi signal overwhelms the monitor
@arstechnica Wait until people start pointing high energy directed beam wi-fi transmitters at drones flying near voting locations. Either burn out the electronics or feed 'em billions upon billions of SSIDs.
@karlauerbach @arstechnica Hundreds of SSIDs with variants of "MikeLindellIsADufus".
@trashpanda_x @arstechnica Can SSIDs contain null (0x00) bytes? (Domain names can, but few know it.) When I tried that with domain names it was amazing how many things failed because they used things like strcpy() that stopped when they encountered a null byte.
@arstechnica Does it just point at him and say "Look, there's a fraud now!"
@arstechnica I'll be sure to turn on my phone's Wi-Fi sharing when I go to vote! Not at all sure what this is supposed to prove other than Wi-Fi access points exist.
@arstechnica this guy had too much lead in his drinking water growing up...
@arstechnica I think the idea is to detect vaccinated people voting
@arstechnica he's also very concerned with his bodily fluids.
@arstechnica Pillow man shows absolutely no symptoms from his long term cocaine and crack addiction. 🤷‍♂️
@arstechnica How dare you doubt Mike Lindell's technical acumen.
@arstechnica Bro just found war{driving|flying}
@arstechnica imagine assembling a fortune selling pillows, then using your wealth to rile yourself and others into a froth every day chasing the most illogical theories in politics…
@arstechnica imagine going through off this, just to find out your fav runner still loses lol

@arstechnica He’s still crazy, I see.

I wonder what con-man sold him on this plan?

'These are not drones': Mike Lindell backtracks on election surveillance plan after legal questions

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell insisted he would not use drones for election surveillance after reports suggested that the move could be illegal in some states. At an election summit last week, Lindell showed the audience a drone attached to a Wi-Fi network detection device. Lindell said the contrapt...
