My wife had a 4X6 pride flag on her bulletin board at a bio testing lab. She's a director there, and it's important to her that the gay people who work under her know they are welcome.

Someone from her team, who is very nice to their gay co-worker's face, filed a very general complaint about it.

Naturally, I assumed the person was upset the pride flag was too small. So I made my wife a 12X8 stained glass flag to put in its place.

@MunkySpunk Props to the complainant noticing the small size and demanding a larger, prettier version 😈
@lackattack @MunkySpunk I wonder if they'll complain about this one. If they do, we can assume it's because they think it should be hung up against a window rather than against a bulletin board, so the light can shine through it.
@lauravivanco @MunkySpunk I think in this case, and in the coworker's best interest, your wife should proactively do it 😂

She's getting a corner office when the new building construction is completed. Sooooo many fabulous rainbows :)

The abovementioned stained glass pride flag 😎

@MunkySpunk Thank you for mentioning that the bigoted coworker was nice to the gay coworker's face. That reminds me of this amazing quote:

"Nice people made the best Nazis. My mom grew up next to them. They got along, refused to make waves, looked the other way when things got ugly and focused on happier things than “politics.” They were lovely people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away. You know who weren’t nice people? Resisters.”

@danwentzel

"If there’s a Nazi at the table and 10 other people sitting there talking to him, you got a table with 11 Nazis." - I don't know who, reportedly popular in Germany, which doesn't hide from its past.

@MunkySpunk @danwentzel alternatively, you got a table with one unconscious nazi and ten people agreeing on what to tell the cops when they show up.

My friends are the best.

@MunkySpunk Lol, absolute master use of malicious compliance. Reddit would love you.
@MunkySpunk for a person whose profile says they’re looking to fit in Mastodon, your first few posts are already a masterclass in great art and great allyship — love both! (And it looks like you’ve already started adding alt text to your photos, so you’ve hit the Fediverse trifecta right out of the gate)
