Notice that not one of Trump’s defenders in the GOP actually says he is innocent. They just say he is the victim of a politicized system. They are essentially saying that a guilty person shouldn’t be prosecuted when he’s a powerful politician. Who here thinks that’s crap?

@georgetakei I think they defend him because if he gets charged it sets a precedent that other rich white folks could also be charged...and you can't have the lower orders pointing out the flaws of the rich. It could lead to a disturbance in priveledge and established power structures and you may even end up with the plebs breaking wind in the palaces of the mighty
