I'm happy to share that my article on #StudentParents during the COVID-19 pandemic, co-authored with Alyssa Stefanese Yates, is available ahead of print in the Review of Higher Education. We critique traditional notions of #SocialCapital that suggest that bonding forms of capital are inferior to bridging. Student-mothers in our study relied primarily on their women-centered networks to successfully navigate the pandemic.
