@kuraun Montana has the most extractable coal in the US and they have never *denied* a permit to extract more coal. Yes, coal. For starters, this could provide legal grounds to start denying permits.

More importantly, the ruling sets a precedent where oil drilling and other things might get challenged on a similar legal ground such as, oh you know, *gestures to everything on fire*
