The difficulty that Scotland and Wales have (Northern Ireland too, once Stormont is back running internal affairs) is that our governments have to exist on the handouts from Westminster laid out in the Barnett Formula. Although Scotland does have some tax revenue generating powers 🤔

@kuraun Montana has the most extractable coal in the US and they have never *denied* a permit to extract more coal. Yes, coal. For starters, this could provide legal grounds to start denying permits.

More importantly, the ruling sets a precedent where oil drilling and other things might get challenged on a similar legal ground such as, oh you know, *gestures to everything on fire*
