@AstroKatie Signed up, thank you.
@AstroKatie
I thought I was newslettered out, but this I cannot miss!
@AstroKatie Signed up😀. I just wish there was an easier way to set the birthdate.
@SamerKadoura @AstroKatie I'm with Samer. Would have taken me an <cough> astronomical number of clicks to get back to my birth year
@VoiceofDuum @AstroKatie The older you are, the longer it takes 😁
@SamerKadoura @VoiceofDuum I think that it looks very different on different operating systems but none of them require going back month-by-month. I think in some cases is it just not entirely obvious how to change the year (but it is possible)
@AstroKatie @VoiceofDuum I just tried the link on my windows desktop, I was able to insert the date manually. Thank you.
@AstroKatie @SamerKadoura
Works as you describe in Chrome for Windows. On Android, however, there's no alternative but many hundreds of clicks. Cumulative Trauma Disorder can thankfully be avoided since you didn't make it a mandatory field 😁
William Wallace on Twitter

“@JimmyOKeefe @KI7BDA @AstroKatie Ah, there's a trick to it. It isn't flagged but it seems you can get a scroll window for the year by tapping the year a the top of the date picker. It seems I still young enough to learn new tricks after all.”

@AstroKatie @SamerKadoura THANK YOU. That works. Dunno if you want people whose intelligence is below that threshold subscribing, but too late. I'm signed up.
@AstroKatie Is there an RSS feed option?

@AstroKatie I read (watched, can't remember!) a really compelling piece you did on dark matter ages ago. It would be great to get your take on the wide binary study. Is it as significant as it sounds?

Something for the newsletter maybe.
