Honestly I will never get over how nice it is when people use they/them pronouns for me. My whole life I always flinched a little when people used "she," but I had basically gotten used to it, the way you get used to an achey knee. And then, when the pain goes away, you can't believe how much energy you were using to suppress that pain. Anyway, this is just to say thanks everybody for using they/them pronouns for me because it's a relief every time.

Does it help when one of us uses "she," then immediately corrects ourselves?

Or does that kind of thing remind you of the knee ache but then immediately go away? Kind of a twinge?
