They doubted it could be done. Bring down inflation AND avoid a recession with massive job losses. But inflation is back down to normal, unemployment is at record lows, and real wages are rising. Who knew that investing in America from the bottom up and middle out would work? JOE BIDEN knew, that’s who.

@georgetakei I’m glad inflation is not climbing faster what is “normal,” but normal is still very bad when compared to wages. Affordable housing is beyond what many Americans can muster. I will pat Joe on the back when Americans are promised a living wage, housing is affordable and available, and I can put to rest the existential dread for my daughters’ future.

Biden is still orders of magnitude better than the alternative.

@georgetakei Prices for everything are still way above what they were even a year or two ago, unemployment stats don't take into consideration people who aren't getting unemployment benefits, and wages are stagnant. This is all lies, man.

@georgetakei In my adult life, the eight best years for America were:

1) Bill Clinton's 2nd term, and
2) Barack Obama's 2nd term.

Their first terms had some unpleasantness as they had to dig out from Bush Sr.'s and Bush Jr.'s messes.

Biden is doing terrific work in undoing as much Trumpism as can be undone in four years. Some inflation was inevitable due to the bounceback from the COVID shutdowns. The next four should be magnificent!
