I'm getting really tired of both-siderism, especially when it comes to the issues of energy & climate change. I hear it in conversation; I see it in social media comments.

Although weaning us off fossil fuels is not happening fast enough--for the planet, or for progressives--the progress on the clean energy front is substantial.

Credit for progress at the federal level is entirely due to the Democrats, in the face of universal opposition by Republicans. #ClimateCrisis #politics #CleanEnergy

@MarkBrigham I'm getting tired of being ignored by the center-left that leans right when it gets uncomfortable.

Entirely? Are you one of those who spreads the lie that there are only two parties? (And if you say only two matter, that would be true for YOU; we differ on that point, vehemently.) Many if not most of the ideas come from NON-DEM #leftists, #GreenParty, and such, and are appropriated by cynical centrists. Be fair now; you're proving once again that Dems are not our allies and can't be trusted. Credit where it is due.

@AntiracistHippie

Dude, I have voted Green when there was no doubt that the second best candidate (a Democrat) would win.

But let's be real. In this incredibly divided America; this two party system; this winner- (or even thin loser)-take-all system, a vote for a third party in a tight election is a vote for the other side. The math is irrefutable.

Vote your conscience if it makes you feel good, but peeling votes away from D's sets us back decades or more.
