@actuallyautistic

I have a question. I was recently diagnosed as autistic. Now that so many of my struggles have a name, I'm trying to find a way to use this information to improve my life. I've been looking for materials about strategies for adults trying to cope with the drawbacks of being autistic, but I don't know where to start. There seems to be a lot of BS out there, and I want stuff that's evidence-based.

Do any of you have suggestions?

@sarahmaywalt @actuallyautistic one thing that has been helping me a lot are #podcasts created by #ActuallyAutistic folks. Off the top of my head, the ones I've been listening to lately are Thoughty Auti, The Autism Podcast, Meet My Autistic Brain, 1800 Seconds on Autism... There are plenty more out there
