Bad #Minecraft idea: If you are wearing leather armor that is dyed certain bright colors, bees will follow you without a flower in your hand - because they think you are a flower!
Better #Minecraft idea: A mod that lets you change out custom item textures/models from different texture packs that you have enabled.
For example, if the pig, chicken, and cow custom models in a pack break without #Optifine, you can temp-disable them individually instead of digging into the pack files yourself. Sodium users represent!
Or, if your mod configuration doesn't support emissive textures, you can swap the individual textures out for those in a pack that are of the same resolution or style but lack emissives.
OR OR, if you simply prefer the textures for one set of blocks from one pack but prefer the textures from another pack for different blocks, you can frankenstein them in-game without digging thru the individual files.
Individual texture disablings might work somewhat like the individual mod/resource pack disabling system in #PrismLauncher.
@anomalocarididae what if leather died armor gave you stealth depending on the color of the block you're standing on, so full green leather armor on a grass block would make mobs not detect you until close range
@Chalkllate That would likely only work on certain mobs. I bet the zombies can smell Steve, considering showers do not exist in Minecraft lol
