Thing people forget about #SSD is that they're basically computers, running a firmware OS that can fail or get hacked just like your computer. (This is also true of hard drives, but the nature of the medium means you've got a better shot at recovering the data if the device gets borked.)

Also also let's make a habit out of attributing #YouTube behaviors to #Google. YouTube is Google. We need to remember that. If we ever think we're seeing a difference in behavior, we should look again - we're almost certainly looking at a skin on the behavior.

If that feels like an unnecessary message to you, great. But I'm pretty sure even people who know YouTube's been Google forever still often separate them in their heads.
