It's science, not Santa Claus.
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon I've added this before and I'll add it again: disqualify the ones who answer 'yes'. It's way too complicated for that.

Stop asking candidates if they ”believe

in" climate change and start asking if
they understand it.

It's science, not Santa Claus.

@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon yep, and furthermore letting the debate be around its existence at all is a problem; now we need to be asking "what are you going to do about it". If the answer starts with "nothing", the difference between "because I don't think it exists" and "because I don't think it's possible" is immaterial; they're already useless either way.
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon skip both origin questions, and rather ask what they are going to do about it

"As the water breached to fill our lungs the voice of the yeomen still rang piercing and hollow upon our ears.

'There is nothing to fear. All is well.'"
