For those who are skeptical about what we can do for the planet...and for those who aren't here's some #hope. I hope you'll share and spread the possibility for real change. We need to leave off doing our stupid jobs and do important things like build an infrastructure that sustains us all. One of natural abundance and beauty.

@JoBlakely

The water cup is vrey hart waling. Love to see it.

Love the film maker too.

I would love love love to be able to take my carier in that direction somehow.

@JoBlakely shocking how these projects seem to be the exact opposite of what we are doing in the Amazon basin. We could use a lot of this kind of stuff in California too.
@Supposenot everywhere they are needed. But each custom designed for specific locations.
@JoBlakely Sure… but with all the deforestation, seems like the model in the Amazon is do all the things that will result in turning the basin into a desert.
@Supposenot ok Doomer.
@JoBlakely Starting to think we’re talking past each other. I was suggesting that one of the lessons from the linked projects is that trees and plants and their habitat play a vital role in the life of aquifers, which makes it important that we not overgraze/over harvest the places that already have those things so we don’t have to do projects like these later to fix messes we create. I’m not arguing there’s no hope, but that these projects add value to the argument for conservation efforts.
@Supposenot did you watch them? bc all were depleted and they are restoration projects. And if we are starting in a better position, how much more can we achieve in less time?
@JoBlakely Andrew Millison is the best. His videos on water management are very helpful.
