@jeffjarvis Yesterday, when other channels were reading the indictment, Fox was trying out a weird circular illogic:

Trump knew he won the election, and he still knows it. There were people in the government telling him he lost, but by now everyone knows you shouldn't believe anyone in the government. Trump needs to get re-elected to clean up the mess in the government. And how about that Biden crime family? They have been doing all the terrible stuff, not Trump.

@jeffjarvis Such vile, disgusting people. But even worse for democracy than Fox are other news outlets that are considered to be more legitimate. They will continue with their bothsidesism which legitimizes people like Comer and Trump. They will continue with it until they find themselves in an authoritarian state where anything other than praise for the ruling party will land their reporters in jail. #USPolitics #TrumpIndictment
