People you’ve used CPAP/APAP machines - do they work? Have they made much difference to your life, and sleep?
The replies to this are great btw. I ordered a BiPAP machine, will let you know what happens.
@GossiTheDog Be sure to try different masks if the first one doesn't agree with you. People focus on the machine and forget it isn't the part you get intimate with.
@noodle @GossiTheDog Yes, mask fit is really tricky! Watch some videos, would be my advice
@GossiTheDog honestly it’s top five best thing that has ever happened to me. A good sleep study nurse is an absolute must. They will help you get the right mask and get your pressure set right.
@GossiTheDog you can’t buy one of these in the US without a prescription from a doctor. Is that the same in the UK?
@deepthoughts10 @GossiTheDog You can buy them on Amazon. $1K+ for one but you can.
@GossiTheDog I'm jealous, here in the US I inquired about getting a CPAP machine around April, and got a referral for a sleep study the earliest one could be scheduled... in December.
