It really was breathtaking… probably even more so since I had not left light-polluted areas in many years!
I imagine you used a tripod, ins't it? And also, it seems an enviroment with low light contamination... So impresive! 🤩

Yeah, I just have a little tripod that can clip onto my phone and hold it still while it does its thing taking star photos. It'll also work leaning up against a rock or against a tree or whatever, though. It takes like 4 minutes to capture each shot on the phone's tiny sensor.

I believe Crater Lake is one of the darkest locations in the continental US.
Wow, 4 minutes! That explains why my photos are not that great. I'm so impatient 🙈
