If only these kids had no mobility tools and independence, they wouldn’t have been put in danger by our terrible car centric infrastructure.

Clearly the solution is to not allow them to leave their homes.

@DrTCombs Even more, in the Netherlands escooters and other higher power vehicles are permitted on most cycle paths. This works because they are wide and well designed. When bike infra is squeezed so that there is room for the umpteen car lanes engineers believe are necessary, it becomes more dangerous.

Honestly...the problem is always cars...in every way.
