I am so grateful for Mastodon and the people I am getting to know. It is kind of remarkable that we all take some time out of our lives to share and interact on a regular basis.

I have been overwhelmed by the kindness of people here. I feel connected to a community of good people that value each other's humanity. That support is precious, something I've never experienced on any other platform. So I want to say thank you. You matter and you have helped just by being here. ♥️

@Sharonbw I’ve not been here that long, I’m happy while I’m wondering where are all the right Wing Yahoos hiding? 🤔 Is it too good to be true? I never did Twitter, but Facebook was the jungle, if you did not restrict yourself to staying in touch with close relatives.

I've run into a couple of belligerent people, but blocking or muting them takes care of them. I don't think the positivity is too good to be true. I've been here since November and I would never go anywhere else. There's no need to.
