I still remember April 1st 2023 when Alex @gifter and I wrote a very long post on our site (now very unstable) talking about an HIV stigma related event, where we talked about our opposite and mutual experience with HIV stigma: me from the neg point of view (I don't live with the virus while my ex does) and Alex from his perspective of a poz guy, in a serodiscordant relationship (he lives with an HIV negative man). And despite the event's name was a hint of the April fool due to its initials (F. I. S. H.) readers fell down in our trap.
Italian expression is "April fish", and we use to attach a paper fish on fooled people's back. With something written on it.
We then promised ourselves to translate that whole article in English, naming the event "Find Opportunities, Overcome Limits" or "Fight Obstacles Overcome Limits" -F O O L- but then many things changed, technical issues come, and April 1st passed without us fooling our international readers.
Yes, we could even have fooled everyone with an announcement concerning the project's permanent closure, but we both totally dislike this kind of fake drama. Once you start with these, if you ever close the project for lack of support, you'll find no one to support you.

Down came the final card. An image of a young man in a leather jacket and jeans standing before a jungle graced the face. Between the leaves Maeve thought she saw something like an upright crocodile with feathers.
"The #Fool!" Ursula commanded attention. "New beginnings but one must choose." A purple nail tapped the card, "You can cross the boundary or stay where you are."
The young woman nodded, stood, and left.
