I took a couple of days off to write up this survey, adding little Easter eggs here and there to give it a bit of personality. Of course, this has made it less scientifically relevant (i.e. you can understand where I'm coming from and where I'm going with this!), but I think it's very interesting nonetheless and will be useful in writing a great roadmap, so thanks 🙇♂️

I've started to analyze the dataset, and there are some clear conclusions that I can't wait to share with you. I'm going to wait until at least this Sunday before closing the survey, and I won't share the results publicly until then (to make sure it doesn't distort the results even more than the storytelling I employed while writing it 😅).
@Wikisteff Great! Let's note that I always used Firefox to design the form, so at least it also works on something not-Chromium related.

@Signez Le sondage n’est pas vraiment « neutre », mais comme je suis complètement raccord avec ce qu’il suggère (colonnes plus larges, plus de densité, ouvrir les nouvelles colonnes en overlay, etc.), je trouve ça très bien. 😄
Je vois aussi que tu es passé sur Tally. \o/
@djo Ça ne se prétends pas franchement neutre, tu l'auras remarqué. Je parle régulièrement à la première personne, etc.
Je ne suis pas un scientifique, et je pense mettre un énorme paragraphe au début de mon blogpost de résultat en mode "Je ne suis pas un chercheur !", pour le rappeler :)

1) Il n’y a pas Metatext iOS dans les choix
2) Il n’y a pas de champ texte pour préciser « Other reason » à la fin
@abel J'ai pourtant rajouté Metatext, car justement il manquait… bizarre 🤔 (et des gens l'ont bien sélectionné depuis)
Pour l'Other reason, si tu parles de la question sur le financement, c'est volontaire — c'est vraiment hors scope du sondage, et je savais que je n'allais pas passer beaucoup d'énergie à analyser en full-text des réponses pour ça. C'était aussi surtout un nudge pour que les gens pensent à contribuer s'ils le peuvent ! (j'ai des gens qui m'ont ping pour dire que ça a marché 😅)
@val I fully understand the confusion — I should have used "the normal one" or "the single column one". Oops!

@philmoscovitch Oh! Sorry about that. It's hard to make a great survey that encompass all the answers people can have, while reducing them to options (and I prefered limiting the "Other" options to push people to try to select one — but I failed you if really no option reflected your view!).
Thanks for trying to take it anyway! I won't have your data (only full surveys are saved), but I still appreciate the time and effort. 🙇♂️
@jgordon @andypiper What do you mean by "external hyperlinks"? Links inside posts that leads to other instances?
Both the standard interface and the advanced interface should open you posts and accounts in your own instance, letting you interact freely on them. (But it is a problem if the link comes from *elsewhere*, like on website or a text conversation, yeah, it's a common problem that is quite hard to fix! There are ideas though…)
