My husband was worried because she came up to eat without them. I looked it up and once they are crawling on moms back they are independent enough for mom to search out food without them (2-4 mos old)

I never thought my hubs would be loving opossums and worries about them.
Last winter one had a portion of its tail frostbit. Lost that part of his tail but it’s doing ok. Getting old.

@jeanettepizzurro HE is doing great! Goes to work with my son every Friday, disc golfing three days a week. I’m just going to keep thinking about that. The neighborhood mouser died early July that I used to feed in lieu of Dude. The neighbors need another one I say.

I had too many cats. The other 4 were adopted out. I was going to temporarily keep him until rescue had room. Never happened and I always referred to him by his size, Little Guy.
