Whistleblowers really missed the window on telling the American public aliens exist and having them give a shit.

Tell 1993-us that aliens are real and we're all over it, guaranteed. Life-changing stuff.

But 2023-us? Frankly I just want to know if one of the aliens might consider running for president.

Also, pre-1993ish I think we could still prove something was fake. I think we are past that point now. If CNN, Fox, MSNBC and CSPAN reported that a mother ship landed on the Whitehouse lawn, with multiple videos and witness accounts, I'd still wonder if it was just another 4chan troll.
