@sol_hsa @jk This kinda reminds me of when I was trying to figure out the most optimal amount of memory to save for running a memory test against the remaining memory, and I kept seeing the golden ratio—where the memory under test is always /b/ and the memory for comps and scratch was /a/ and the total was /a/+/b/, so the ram under test was the bigger quantity in the ratio, which was great. I didn’t say anything because it seemed too crazy & out there, but I did use it, after testing it on hundreds of configurations ,and it might still be used at a certain company that’s building and testing server machines. I don’t think it’s some universal, but just a fun baseline that happened to work.
