There are people on the Google Play store writing bad reviews for #Tusky because they think #Mastodon is like "screaming into the void".

Well... maybe they should stop standing awkwardly in the middle of the road, mumbling random things and expecting anyone to actually pay attention.

This is not how human interaction usually works.

Usually, you approach people you consider to be interesting (open an account on an appropriate instance), read the room (read the public timelines) and join in on conversations when you feel you have something to contribute (write a post), preferably related to the ongoing topic (represented by a hashtag).

This isn't so different from real life. Why is it so difficult to understand?
