I'll go first. Ever since I’ve had a knee surgery, Dax has been by my side. he pays extra attention, moves before I ask him to, and will place himself between me, and whoever is visiting, as if to say “he is protected“. I have done nothing to encourage this behavior. It’s all him.

@Mrfunkedude I made the mistake of venturing outside for a few minutes to water my flowers and am now sprawled in my living room with a fan blowing directly on me trying not to melt into a puddle. To my left:
My kitty, Henry, relaxing in his favorite spot on the back of a couch (pardon the cat hair, we gave up). The blinds are pulled away from the window so he can watch the world go by. The recycling truck just came by, so that was exciting for him.
