Had a lovely interaction w/ someone yesterday & that conversation reminded me of a photo I took last yr. My garden last yr was about a 1/3 the size of this years & it seemed as if the bulk of #pollinators were tiny sweat bees & hover flies. That gave me plenty of opportunities to hone my macro skills. What I especially like about this hover fly photo is the clear view of its little halteres (club shape near the wings).
