The Nazis claimed to be 'National' as well but, last I checked, they did wander beyond their own country's borders somewhat.
Perhaps unquestioning acceptance of the self-appointed labels of fascists isn't the wisest approach? Just a thought, like
@Garwboy Didn’t they kinda do that because it appealed to workers (national socialist German worker’s party) and because the communists were their opponents?
I mean, the reason so many socialist/communist states failed is because dictators lie. They say whatever the people want to hear, and then do something else.
