Religion vs. Science
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon
1- #Religion says "Search for #science".
2- A religious person does not say that "I know everything". He says "#GOD knows everything".
3- People can reach to an infinity knowledge with connection to GOD's knowldge.

I reject the premise that religion should get one "book" on this scale because the books on the science side are testable claims about things that are real. They should get a post-it note that says, "Trust me, bro"

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

“...for we know in part..."
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon Buddhism is the only religion I know of that embraces science and is willing to change doctrine in light of scientific advances. Would recommend "The Universe In A Single Atom," which explains how Buddhism and science co-exist. https://www.betterworldbooks.com/product/detail/the-universe-in-a-single-atom-the-convergence-of-science-and-spirituality-9780767920810
@Hawaii @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon technically I think buddhism is better described as a school of thought in the philosophical sense, not a religion.
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon @xtaran This has truly been the trajectory of my life. Thankfully I’m not too old to learn new things.
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon I don’t know what “religion” this refers to, but it certainly is not Judaism, where we are fond of answering questions with more questions. 🤷‍♀️
@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon bullshit. The guy on the left is arrogant, egocentric, narrow-minded etc while the guy on the right is compassionate, solidarian, open-minded etc. Both types of attitudes occur in "religious" groups as well and as much as in "scientist" groups.
