@polyfire @Pheneatis This isn’t the case for regular bikes - the horizontal distance between the bottom bracket and the top of the head tube (the “reach”) is not far off the distance between the seat and the handlebars (a little less), and you can get frames with varying sizes there. I imagine there’s less selection for e-bikes, given the economics, or rather that I’ll probably pay more for something that fits me…
My problem is that I’m several inches past what is generally considered tall, so I have to go to companies that fill that niche, or have a custom frame built. (I was *that* close before I bought my current bike, but fortunately my brand, Surly, serves a wide range of sizes)
But yes, absolutely agreed that I have to go try them out. There’s always fit issues that don’t appear on the spec sheet!
