I am a #3DPrinting noob, and today I tried making my first ever Big Thing.

It's a desk-tidy for the exact things that we use all the time with the 3D printer - a print-bed scraper in the back (the handle is a bit wider than the slot and will sit in that dip), three compartments for the pliers, filament cutters and [something as yet undiscovered], and mini front compartments for tweezers, pens, etc, plus a little dish for the USB-C-to-A adaptor.

It's going to take about 20 hours to print, oh my goodness. The hexagon walls make it take a lot longer than if the walls were solid, but while using less plastic.

I think I may be able to make the walls thinner, but I am not 100% confident with the medium and didn't want to make the sides too flimsy, so I'm playing it safe. If it seems very sturdy, I will make thinner walls next time, which should reduce the print time a lot.

@cassolotl what kind of printer are you using!
@mym It's a Prusa Mini+. :)
@cassolotl nice! we got a prusa semi-recently and it's been such a good upgrade over what we had before
@mym Aww fantastic! :) Also I'm reassured to know that we made a good choice, we asked around for recommendations and we like ours a lot.
