I cast on for fingertip towel 2.5hrs and I was loving it until I realized that it doesn’t include the sl purlwise wyf like the full size Stay Put Towel. If I hadn’t already cut the marl I’d start over, but this colorway is discontinued so every bit of it is precious. This’s going to go on the towel ring in my bathroom.

I really want to be one of those people who are ok with just living with shit as it is. But I’m a Virgo and that’s not how we roll so I’m binding off and giving it to my mom for her dishcloth stash. I’m starting over when I wake up later on today. #Knitting

@KarenStrickholm Me too! I was the only kid who had their cubby and desk alphabetized in elementary school. I used to offer my organizational skills to my classmates but no one ever took me up on the offer.🤣

@JBaby That is the real secret. A friend who grew up in a deeply disordered home had a complete revelation when around age 55, her husband organized the pots and pans and taped inside the cupboard door of where everything goes. She couldn't believe what a positive difference it made. "Now I can find everything!"

So of course I just had to have Mom wash her new dishcloth so I could use it as a swatch. Of course gauge is wrong. I’ve knit the first 32 rows of this towel 3 times. I didn’t cut the precious yarn though so Mom only has the 1 dishcloth. I’m now knitting with 3.5mm needles. These needles have to work because I don’t have any needles smaller that aren’t attach with a 40” cable. I think it’s going to work out though because it’s supposed to be 5.75” wide and Home Cotton doesn’t shrink. #Knitting

@jfoley Yes!!!! I’m still made at Premier Yarns for discontinuing it! They could’ve made it into one of the cones. There’s just no other coloway like it!
